« on: July 21, 2012, 09:49:26 PM »
Tentative for good bye to Audrey as she is discerning her call to join The  Franciscan Daughters of Mary.  No gifts other than Donations which can be made  to her fundraising site at audreyjoypoulin.wordpress.com or given to her to help her pay off her loans from college.

There will also be a going away morning at St. Paul's in Warren after the 10:30 Latin Mass but that has not been scheduled yet.

IS IT TIME TO GO UNDERGROUND?  IT SEEMS TO ME THAT WE ARE ALREADY PART WAY THERE.  SO MANY THINGS ARE DONE "UNDER THE WIRE".  IT IS BETTER TO DO GOOD UNNOTICED THAN TO BE NOTICED AND STOPPED FROM DOING GOOD.  THAT HAS BEEN MY THEORY FOR SOME TIME NOW.  OBEDIENCE TO GOD IS NOT ALWAYS OBEDIENCE TO AUTHORITY.  IF THAT AUTHORITY IS NOT PUT IN PLACE BY GOD THEN WE RUN THE RISK OF DOING EVIL BY OBEDIENCE.  ISN'T THAT WHAT THE GERMAN NAZI'S SAID?  "I WAS JUST FOLLOWING ORDERS."

I've heard Anonymous on Glenn Beck's program.  Is it the same group?  I thought there was always a way to track computer use.  I guess I was wrong or these guys would be out of commission.  Or is it the "I am legion" thing?  If one is caught, there are millions more?

paraphrased, "evil exists by way of good men doing nothing".  Did I get that right?  What can we do?  Obey Christ  sounds like the right answer.  Now what does this mean in our culture today.  I don't think that as a culture we have been obedient.  So do we accept the consequences as just punishment or fight back?  I'm simple minded enough to be confused right now.  Are we too late to fix the cultural problem?  Was any culture ever too late to start doing God's will instead of man's will?  No!  :swiss:  So as soldier's of Christ we must act.  Our anger must be turned into righteous indignation and put to use.  God knows the difference between unbridled rage and Love for his laws.  As usual, I have no ending for my rant.  Typical of me!

Polls / Re: Is the Coffeehouse getting too political?
« on: February 16, 2012, 08:14:33 AM »
When I was in College, it was made clear to me that politics is life.  You can not avoid it.  So no! You are not getting too political.  For those who do not have facebook especially; there should be a place to talk about politics. IMO

General Discussion / Re: Media coverage
« on: January 26, 2012, 05:54:14 AM »
I found one site that defended his position item by item.  It is LifeSiteNews.com.  It is dated July 2011.  I don't have anything more current.  I hesitate to be disappointed as of yet.  I have no clue what he is up against and I don't think that I'm able to say what I would do under his circumstances.  People site past Priests who faced discipline and how they were silent and waited for the Church but we don't know that this is the only path that is acceptable here.  It may have worked for some but others may have taken other routes and just not be recognized because the Church did not want to hold them up as an example.  I guess we will have to wait and see and pray.

General Discussion / Media coverage
« on: January 25, 2012, 08:55:12 AM »
I am aware enough that the media is biased and will not cover anything fairly.  I'm
trying, however, to get accurate information on-line about Fr. Corapi and I'm not sure what to trust
Does anyone know for sure that he is guilty of anything or do people just assume that he is because his order pronounced it.  My interest here is not in the man but in justice.  If what he has stated is true, then I can't count him guilty of anything except maybe giving up and that is not to say despair because I don't know his state of mind.  I've been in situations where the powers were against me and I quit because I didn't want to be where I wasn't wanted.  I could not do my job that way.  My job was to help people and I quickly learned that my coworkers and boss were more interested in ideology than in service.  Their ideology was socialism and I was clearly against it. So back to my point.  Does anyone have any evidence against Fr. Coropi that makes him guilty of sexual abuse or drug use?
